Approach_

Lapis Lazuli is a Japanese skincare brand for city people. Their brand concept is "A simple skincare for dry skin." I proposed the content layout and photography art direction to execute the brand philosophy and tone for their Instagram.

Client_

Lapis lazuli

The brand is targeting busy moms or working women who don't have time for the whole skincare process.  The products sell simplicity and minimalism in their ingredients and packaging design. Therefore, I made the overall mood of photography is minimal, soothing, and calming. The client wanted to add the skincare fact and their brand philosophy as content in Instagram called magazine content, which is a popular content style in Japan. I made the feed have a great contrast of blue for the content and white for the photography.

 

For those magazine content, I carefully designed it to give the viewer the easy eye focusing journey and grab good attention to move on to the next pages.
